The Small Operators Awards are presented annually at our Fall Conference.  Awards are presented in two categories: Transit Leadership and Transit Excellence. The Leadership category is not limited to a Small Operator.  Past winners of the Leadership Award include Jim Ditch (Maintenance Manager, Long Beach Transit) and Les White (General Manager, Santa Cruz MTD). The deadline for this year's nominations is October 7 and winners will be announced at the Small Operator Awards Luncheon on November 4 in Monterey.
