WEBINAR - Beyond the Vehicle: Clean, Green and Sustainable
Beyond the Vehicle:
Clean, Green, and Sustainable
Join us for a Webinar on May 12
co-hosted by
the Association's Small Operators Committee
Part of public transit’s role as an integral component of vibrant, healthy communities includes adapting to evolving community standards of environmental consciousness and responsibility. In addition to clean-fuel innovations for transit vehicles themselves, the concept extends to the design, construction, and operation of facilities, particularly maintenance and fueling facilities.
This webinar, hosted by the Association's Small Operators Committee, explores the concepts of being clean, green, and sustainable beyond the transit vehicle. This session is intended to “scratch the surface” by providing a forum to:
• Hear from the standard-setters on what the minimal expectations are for being clean, green, and sustainable.
• Learn what some member transit agencies have done to meet the clean, green, and sustainability demands, particularly in communities with very high expectations.
• Get the perspective of consultants engaged in providing services to agencies to meet the litmus test of a high standard for clean, green, and sustainable.
