First Quarter STA Allocations Adjusted

The State Controller’s Office (SCO) today announced that it has moved to correct an underpayment of State Transit Assistance allocations for the first quarter of Fiscal Year 2011-12. The adjustment will result in an additional $16.6 million in first quarter payments, with the additional amount to be included in second quarter installments expected to be issued in January.

New Executive Committee Roster Finalized

Following a run-off election to determine the final two positions, the 25-member 2011-13 Executive Committee has now been installed. Results for 23 of the 25 seats were announced November 2 during the Association's 46th Annual Fall Conference and Expo in San Jose, and that group met that day to elect officers for the new term. Paul Jablonski, Chief Executive Officer of the San Diego Metropolitan Transit System was chosen as the new Chair.
